Study: Daylight Saving Time actually raises utility bills
It's official: Daylight Saving Time is a bust. Designed (and recently extended) as a measure to save energy in a period of inflated electricity prices, an in-depth University of California study has now shown that DST doesn't save anyone any money at all.
The study was made possible because of the peculiarities of the state of Indiana, which was only partially on DST until 2006. When the whole state finally went DST (to sync with the national business day), some comparisons vs. the prior method were made apparent. The study calculated that the shift costs Indiana residents an extra $8.6 million in electricity bills in total.
Why? Shouldn't they be, well, saving daylight -- and burning fewer light bulbs?
They are, said the study. But while lighting bills were reduced, air-conditioning units had to run more often, because people were home on hot afternoons when they'd otherwise be still at the office. Heaters had to be run on cool mornings, too, when people got up and it was still dark outside.
Professor Matthew Kotchen, who pioneered the study, noted, "I've never had a paper with such a clear and unambiguous finding as this."
This isn't the first time the energy-saving rationale of Daylight Saving Time has been attacked. The first was in 1976, three years after DST went into effect, when the National Bureau of Standards found that there was no significant energy savings after the switch.

vindication...at last. DST changes the energy clocks and times and was and is designed to keep people's "noon" off from true noon, when the sun is at its zenith. For occult reasons, for dark reasons, for evil purposes.

That new movie ‘The Esoteric Agenda’ has a couple gems, despite being largely distractionary. One of them points out the fact that many ancient cultures put more energy into cosmology and time then any other venture.
The mayans, the aztecs, the egyptians, and so on…
If you’re on this site, the reasons for keeping time as a stale, progressive external concept should be obvious.

If you know about the new world order and higher planes/dimensions then you know it is all about energy.
It all falls down to control….of energy….well most of it anyways.
I JUST got back from a 2 hour each way road trip and was thinking exactly that and have thought exactly that for a while now, as I looked at the design of the freeways.
I have always wandered who are the idiots who not only designed crappy freeways but also their predecessors who CONTINUE to design crappy freeways.
Don’t tell me you have not sat in rush hour all angry, and not thought, but known you could design a way better system.
On top of which the most recent projects are even more idiotic in design, by making the lanes merge alot more frequently.
Even on today’s drive I found myself angry even though I knew I was getting mad and fought against it, I kept getting slowly angrier.
Why?
Because the design of the freeways are purposefully built to both piss you off and channel that energy of anger.
Which is probably why all the elite idiots probably love to build their homes on hills overlooking the worst freeways.
I drive all over and see the best houses sitting over the worst freeways where traffic constantly jams up, and think to myself, if I was rich enough to build a house like that it would be nowhere near that close to freeway.
On top of that a mahority of cell phone tower(s) are right up against or close to what?
Daylight savings time thing also came up in that same line of thought about energy, although I had not yet pieced all the answer about it yet, so this gives me a short cut hehe.

Thanks for confirmation about the truth of DST. I was sure the official reasons were several layers of lies hiding the occult one of energy control. Even machines like microprocessors are prone to failure with some clock jitter.
To Mark: do you have in your country, some strange monuments passing as art near highways, that seem designed to channel energy off drivers ? I saw this while driving in my country, and will love to gift them if I go back there:

Yes we have monuments although some of them arent seen as monuments even though they are.
The reson they arent seen as monuments is because they werent presented to the public as such and they were put up with the construction of some malls.
One good example is the Irvine mall off of the freeway has a giant cube set up to stand on a corner of itself.
Plus there are what is called urbab art projects which takes the form of either a mural or a sculpture.
Some of them are weird.

Here’s an interesting article from digg.com : http://www.livescience.com/environment/0..
The article states that DST extends the period of the year in which people are most vulnerable to depression.

I’m with DB on this, Daylight savings is just another con and grift of the many hundreds of thousands out there.

Depressed? See your doctor, Are you SAD? See your Pharmachiatrist, he’ll fix you; u’ll b hooked for life on the wrong ideas.
DB, knowing that I was doing some wrong to my body re: over-cooked “food”, I cut out “meals-on-wheels” and got an official letter back stating ineligibility, (because I would not pay “Sally” for junk meals). Now I don’t worry about getting up to recieve them and I’m so relieved, my inner clock is relieved too. More often than not, it was not eaten right away. Herbal Cleansing schedule renewed. Still gotta get enough water. happy
