Yellow Ribbons a Psyop, btw...

It came out in congressional hearings in the mid 1980s (Remember the trade of guns and drugs with Iran, Ollie North, and Bush senior?) that in fact the CIA came up with the slogan, Support Our Troops; mainly because of the bitter attitudes towards war in the general population from the Vietnam conflict. So, the idea was, shift the focus from the war, to the troops, and who in their right mind WOULDN'T support their brothers, friends, sons, and daughters?

And it worked. All the lizards had to do to shut up anyone who was against general war was to shift the topic (there is a word for it in debating circles) from war, to supporting your friends and relatives, hence, Support Our Troops. They 've been using it ever since.

Everytime you see a car with that, you are seeing someone who is shouting to the world, "I am in play. I have bought the lizard psyop and have no problem sending my kids off to die, cuz hey, I'm Supporting Our Troops."
