The reflection pool...

Was out surfing today at Solimar beach, in Ventura. Thank heavens it’s free, cuz it’s the only recreation I can afford. It’s been mostly overcast all summer, but today, it was radiant and beautiful. Finally. The water was warm, and everyone at the beach was wearing a smile and in good humor.

After about four hours of surfing, boarding, and taking walks, it was time to head home. As per usual, a walk down the beach for a few miles, to give my thanks to the water, the air, and all that made a nice day out of the city possible. A neat thing to do, especially with water, earth, or air, is to immerse yourself in these elements and make a spiritual connection. I do that, and very often, it is returned. So many, say, go to the beach, but very few take the time to acknowledge the elementals that make for their nice day. In doing so, we give back—in recognition, gratitude, and love—a measure of what WE were given. By creation. The corporeal world.

When this occurs, these elementals respond in interesting, but always playful and loving ways. I find my time wrestling with the waves always safe and sane, always the right waves at the right time, and with good wave buggles. Same with the Earth, the sand, the very ground we walk upon. Several times a month, I take a walk down a river bed at the edge of town at night. Been doing this kind of thing all my life  A friend commented, “aren’t you afraid of all the rattlesnakes, and all that?”.

“What is there to fear? It’s only life that is. I’m safe, the paths I take in the dark are visible to me, and the day has yet to come that harm has come my way from nature.”

And today was the same. Good waves, for me at least, and a general spirit of happiness by all around. Usually, of late, it seems the beach has been filled with sourpusses, angry bizzybots, and snarling snigdordles. Egads.

So, as I was leaving and packing up, got the idea to take a picture or two. Which I do anyways. By this time, mind you, the beach was pretty vacant. I’d been there since around lunch time and at 4:30 I was pretty much done in for waves. There were maybe, 20 people left on that section of beach.

And in the picture below, you can see them in the reflection of the waves. Their true character, as they present themselves to the world. Their animating soul presence. I’m in there, and my reflection pretty much looks like how I do. There are others in there, and their reflections represent their ACTUAL characters as souls. Or the masks they present not only to the world, but mainly, TO THEMSELVES.

An interesting sidebar to all this is that in the higher dimensions, there is a place between the astral world and the higher spiritual dimension called the REFLECTING POOL. It’s very often alluded to in literature, film, old writings. This reflection pool reflects back to you WHO YOU REALLY ARE, and is made of the higher frequency of water as we know it on Earth. It’s kind of a constant Dorian Gray thing—all you do, are, feel, and think is reflected back to your soul as the effects of these causes are given over in the spiritual body. In this place, all lies, deceptions, and masks are fallen away. The pretensions of the physical world cannot make hold on this dimension. Very  few are they who can even come to this place and see themselves as they really are.

And in today’s shot, we have a kind of lower plane mirror of that interesting aspect of the soul’s life. At the end of our lives, depending, people come to this pool to see the effects of their life as its actions have affected their spirit body.  For some, it’s a place of growth, knowing, and being. For others…it’s a horror show that very often, drives them mad. They literally faint at the reflection.

It’s so much better going through life loving, being, giving, and connecting. Deceiving, scamming, grifting, and running cons on people make for the ugliest of spirit bodies.
