precursor event (pre echo event)

To be clear: if they choose a marking system which has some kind of ID bracelet of any kind or some such, it's a pre-echo event of the real thing to come, some years later. This allows them to weed out those that will resist, as well as have actual field tests of how such a system might go, what went wrong, and how to fix their errors for the real Mark of the Beast, to come later.

How phase one goes, will determine phase two, or even three. Depending upon the breaks.
